RIP … HELIX Drummer GREG ‘FRITZ’ HINZ Dead At 68

Metal Sludge — Sad news to report as we learn about the loss of yet another rock n’ roll veteran. Greg “FRITZ” Hinz of the Canadian band HELIX has died. Hinz had played with the band HELIX for 2 long runs totaling more than 25 years, over a 40 year period starting in 1982. Hinz has sadly has lost his near year long battle with cancer. Hinz was 68.
