BIG NEWS?
Stephen Pearcy posts cryptic Facebook message: “Justice is Peace, TBA”

Facebook — Is the end near?

Could there be some finality in the on-going Ratt saga?

A very recent post by former Ratt singer and band founder Stephen Pearcy seems to contain some form of a cryptic message for sure and one might think this is a sign.

Cathouse_Block_SwagPearcy is on the verge of releasing his latest solo effort “Smash” which is due from Frontiers SR1 in January. And the singer has spent months pressing the issue, talking about the new solo disc noting song titles, release date, and showing off the album artwork and logos.

However amid all the press and promoting for the new solo release the frontman took to his official Facebook last week on Monday night January 14th and wrote: “Justice is Peace, TBA”

Along with the message there is an image of a gladiator from generations past who appears to be stepping on top of another man. With his arms slightly raised, fists clenched wearing a helmet, warrior like battle clothes and sporting wings – it appears almost as some form of victory pose on top of the fallen enemy.

Things that make you go hmmm.

Clealy it’s not a TBA for his solo effort, as that information and the related has been everywhere for months.

So this seems like there could be a hidden message in this short post.

Is there? You decide.

As rock and Ratt fans around the globe know, Pearcy has been in many much publicized battles with former band member Bobby Blotzer. And Blotzer has been entangled in a lawsuit with guitarist Warren DeMartini, and Blotzer also has been in legal battles with Juan Croucier (Bass) as well.

Add to this, the band in some form or another were battling legally for years.

But, much of that seems to be settling down. Or maybe…could it be, that this is finally coming to a close?

metalbabe_block_150_1In truth, trying to figure out who’s suing who, and for what, is more complex than trying to solve a rubik’s cube, blind folded after a night of drinking.

Stephen Pearcy (Vocals), Warren DeMartini (Lead Guitar), Juan Croucier (Bass) and Bobby Blotzer (Drums) are forever linked in the great music they created with Ratt in the 80’s. But sadly for well over a decade, the band has been cursed. There has been lots of infighting, break ups, reunions and a slew of replacement players along the way. And we cannot forget the death of the band’s once fearless leader Robbin “King” Crosby.

But after all this, one would think there will at some point be a resolution.

Or as Pearcy writes, justice and peace.

It must be near, as in recent months one thing seems certain, that is, that original members Stephen Pearcy, Warren DeMartini and Juan Croucier all appear to be on the same team. At least one could assume so, especially after the 3 appeared as “The Stowaways” on the October Monsters of Rock cruise.

This made a big statement, and the fans were elated to see the core of Ratt back together on stage again.

Meanwhile Bobby Blotzer continues to tour with his version of Ratt. His band has received both good and bad reviews that range from fantastic to pathetic.

And in the end, the fans do have a voice, and many have spoken. However in law, there are multiple sides and each party can present their case. But when the gavel falls for the final time, our system allows the courts or a judge to rule, award and let justice prevail.

We’re gonna leave this here, and patiently await what Pearcy’s “TBA” stands for.

Anyone placing bets where the chips will fall?

Stay tuned…..
