FLY CATCHER?
Bobby Blotzer’s mouth ‘why is it always open’ one fan wants to know

Gossip Board — Anyone who reads Metal Sludge must know who Ratt is. A once amazing band that has a deep catalog of great songs and a history of all things rock-n-roll. The band has endured the highs, the lows and even a members’ death, RIP – Robin “King” Crosby.

BB_Mouth_Pics_2015_7Even though not really a cohesive unit as of late, Ratt somehow continue to make headlines. With no real band activity together and what seems like impeding turmoil –  individually 3 of 5 original members are active touring in support of what they collectivelly achieved years earlier.

The headlines are not always the best and the group somehow continues to make it onto the internet with typical drama. One thing that adds fuel to that dysfunction is drummer Bobby Blotzer’s mouth. The man is not afraid to speak his mind – especially after midnight – when he might be a little worse for wear, and maybe shouldn’t take to Facebook.

But today, we’re not talking about a Bobby Blotzer rant. Nope. No rants today, but there is a question that one fan asked and we at Metal Sludge felt it needed to be addressed.

Why? Because who wants to read about Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters again. Or why Mayhem Festival and Slayer are fighting over why no one came to their show.

Simply put, the world needs more Sludge – that is why.

We’re pretty sure Bobby is reading this right now, and for that, we’ll address him directly.

Bobby, one of your fans on the world famous Metal Sludge Gossip Board have recently started a thread and questioned, “What is up with Blotzer’s open mouth pictures lately?

The fan continues, “maybe (it’s) a side effect from his neck surgery?”

BB_Mouth_Pics_2015_10Maybe you can give us a one liner, or a simple Facebook to address this concerned fan?

We at Metal Sludge feel it almost has a “bozo game” at the county fair kinda vibe to it. You know the one where you have to throw the bean bags into the clown’s mouth.

People then posted tons of pics of Blotzer on stage, during photo shoots, with fans, out on the town and more.

And ironically, in all of the photos – it appears Blotzer is trying to catch flies with his mouth.

Or yelling at someone.

Or maybe, he’s yelling at flies?

We actually have no idea, but it’s anyone’s guess.

Maybe he’s mimicking the great George Lynch guitar facials that the Ex Dokken shredder does when he plays a guitar solo live. But then again, George doesn’t usally do those same faces when he’s taking a photo with fans.

With that said, we did some additional research and found out that Blotzer’s mouth has been open for years. Actually decades.

We found pics of Blotzer with his mouth wide open hanging with Tommy Lee. So long ago, the Motley Crue drummer had long hair and even seemed to be BFF’s with da’ Blotz.

We have shared several pictures below of da’ Blotz over a 30 year period with his yapper fully yapped.

In closing we ask everyone take a cellphone to the “Whisky-A-Go-Go” on Saturday September 12th to catch Bobby Blotzer’s RATT Experience live in concert.  And get there earlier to check out Stonebreed. Make sure to take pics – let’s see how many we can get of da’ Blotz doing his ‘bozo the fly catcher’ face.
