Metal Sludge Happy Easter everyone from Metal Sludge and Maddi Lane.

Maddi is the youngest daughter of the late Jani Lane who he had with his 2nd wife Rowanne Brewer.

Lane, 22, has been releasing music here and there and just released a new cover of “Stronger Now” by her Dad’s former band Warrant.

We have to say, her version is absolutely brilliant.

Metal Sludge first covered Maddi when she released a cover of her Dad’s song “Heaven” back in February 2018.

Maddi surprised a lot listeners with her voice then, and she has once again.

It’s clear Maddi inherited some of her Pop’s musical abilities as her voice is pretty and clear as a bird’s whistle.

Lane who is set to graduate The University of North Carolina wrote about the up coming ceremony.

Maddi blogged over the weekend writing: “I was asked to sing at the UNC Kenan Flagler graduation ceremony on behalf of the Shuford Program in Entrepreneurship this coming May, and I was honored, excited, and nervous. The song I chose was one my favorite songs of my dad’s called “Stronger Now”. “

However, due to the Coronavirus country-wide shut down, it seems many of these ceremonies are being affected.

Lane continues: “Unfortunately, this pandemic halted my ability to not only perform this song, but for us to even have a graduation ceremony, to do all of our “lasts” before graduating, to go on the many trips we all had planned. In essence, this has brought immense change to our lives, but it’s up to us to make the most of this and come out on the other side stronger, rather than let it consume us.”
