NO EXCUSES
Stephen Pearcy of Ratt apologizes for live Ratt debacle: “There is no excuse for my behavior”

LOS ANGELES, California — After what could be considered his worst ever live performance, Ratt singer Stephen Pearcy has owned it.

Metal Sludge was first to report on the live show that took place in Huntington New York at “The Paramount.”

Our report includes fan first hand accounts and various videos that show Pearcy in questionable state of mind.

At some point during the live show, band bassist Juan Croucier makes a statement regarding his singer from the stage.

Croucier noted Pearcy was “in a lot of pain” but also said, “we’re not canceling” informing the crowd they would do their best.

Pearcy has now taken to social media today and has taken full ownership of his actions.

The band’s founder and lead singer wrote in an online statement: “I want to apologize to RATT fans for last night’s performance and especially to those that were at the show.”

Pearcy continued: “I am dealing with a pain management issue due to a bad knee that is scheduled to be replaced in January. And last night I made the critical error of adding alcohol to my pain meds while on stage, and it destroyed my performance.”

The band Ratt have been playing some East Coast dates in recent days.

Including the New York show on September 26th where the less than desireable performance took place.

“Again there is no excuse for my behavior. I sincerely apologize to RATT fans, my band, Live Nation, my friends, and family.” wrote Pearcy

Metal Sludge are big fans of the band Ratt and of Stephen Pearcy.

We truly hope that he can get whatever it is he needs in the way of help.
