PUDDLE OF BOOZE!
WES SCANTLIN of the band PUDDLE OF MUDD arrested after leading Police on 100MPH high speed chase, blows a .310

TMZ —  Puddle of Mudd singer Wes Scantlin has been arrested yet again … this time in Minnesota for allegedly driving while intoxicated — a whopping four times the legal limit — and leading cops on a 100 MPH chase.

According to the Renville County Sheriff’s Department, Scantlin was initially spotted speeding and led the arresting officer on a high-speed pursuit … with speeds reaching approximately 100 MPH.

The arresting officer said in his report … when he finally pulled Scantlin over, he was slurring his words and smelled of alcohol.

The officer says he then administered a preliminary breathalyzer test and Scantlin blew a .310 … a whopping FOUR TIMES the legal limit.

He was eventually charged with DWI and fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle. Since Scantlin refused to submit to further testing, he was charged for that too.

Scantlin had prior arrests for drug possession in 2012 and domestic violence in 2013.

Olibia, Minnesota (KMSP) — Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin has been in trouble with the law before, but on Sunday morning he found himself in the Renville County Jail.

The 43-year-old “Blurry”singer was booked at 4:47 a.m. for refusing a DWI test and fleeing a police officer. The Renville County Sheriff’s Department said Scantlin was first spotted speeding in 30 mile-per-hour zone and led police on a high-speed chase up to 100 miles per hour, charges said. Scantlin eventually stopped at Highway 212 and County Road 16, and police said he smelled of alcohol, was slurring his words, and a preliminary breathalyzer test recorded a .310 BAC. He refused to submit to further testing.

It’s unclear exactly what he was doing driving around in Renville County, but his band did perform on Friday at Halfway Jam in Royalton, Minn., more than 100 miles north of Renville County.

This isn’t his first arrest in recent months. He was arrested at Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee in April for disorderly conduct, and two months earlier, arrested for riding the oversized luggage carousel at the Denver International Airport. He was ultimately charged with trespassing and avoided federal charges in the Denver incident. Scantlin was also arrested for drug possession in 2012 and domestic violence in 2013.

Puddle of Mudd is slated to play their next show at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas on July 31.
