Lance Eric continues to disrespect Bang Tango’s OG members, Metal Sludge calls foul

Metal Sludge — Bands are like marriages, and often – eventually they have some sort of split.

Over the years, we’ve watched as key members come and go from some of the rock industry’s biggest groups.

Including 80’s standouts like; Guns N’ Roses, Motley Crue, Ratt, Poison and L.A. Guns.

One of the more notable examples, is the group Kiss.  Peter Criss and Ace Frehley have been in and out of the band for decades.

There are some hardcore Kiss fans who are still angry that they’re favorites are no longer on board with Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley.

Other scenarios have had members leave and be replaced only to return later. Which was the case with both Vince Neil and Tommy Lee in Motley Crue.

With all these groups and their related break-ups, one thing took place with all of them. Shit talking.

Of course it’s expected, and there are always multiple opinons and the he-said, she-said bickering amongst the original band-members.

But, is it ever okay for the hired gun, or the new guy to talk shit to the guy who helped build the foundation of the brand he’s now part of?

We think not.

Such is the case regarding Lance Eric.

For quite some time the current Bang Tango bassist has been taking shots on social media and bashing guitarist Mark Knight.

Knight is an original founding member and song-writer from Bang Tango.

Yesterday Lance Eric posted something and used the hashtag #MarkKnightWho

There was no provocation from Knight, it was out of the blue and it appears Lance just pounding his chest.

This is the equivelant of Alex Grossi posting #CarlosCavazoWho or John Corabi using #VinceNeilWho

But neither of those guys would ever do that.

Who would?

Lance Eric, that’s who.

It seems there has been an on-going issue between Lance Eric and some of the original Bang Tango members for a while.

So much so, it’s become public knowledge and several articles detailing the feud have been posted on Sleazeroxx in recent years.

With that said…we would like to share a little online exchange that took place with Lance Eric and the Metal Sludge CEO.

For the record, I, the CEO here…. have never had any beef with Lance Eric or anyone from Bang Tango.

Matter of fact, I have gotten along well with all of the related, including original era members and the guys who currently play with Joe LeSte.

My speaking out was to try and get Lance Eric to stop dissing the guys who helped build this band from the start.

Lance Eric then started a pissing war and name calling session aimed at me on his Facebook wall.

I replied, did not name call or insult him, then predicted he’d delete all his nonsense, which he did.

See the exchange below which has now been removed from his Facebook.

Have a nice day, and be kind to old fucks, we’re people too.

And always respect the brand.
