TRAIN WRECK?
Bobby Blotzer and band walk off stage after 3 songs

NEWKIRK, Oklahoma — A weekend show with Bobby Blotzer’s Ratt went off the rails in a hurry in front of a live audience.

Just 3 songs into their set the band and Blotzer walked off stage leaving the fans stunned.

According to social media posts it has been reported that Ratt (featuring lone original member Bobby Blotzer) walked off the stage due to technical difficulties.

The group was part of a bill at “First Counsil Casino” in Newkirk Oklahoma that included Warrant.

One fan wrote; “Ratt just walked out after playing 3 songs!!! Fans are pissed.”

A local stage hand who requested he not be identified stated; “Bobby (Blotzer) just had a total meltdown after Ratt left the stage. They only played a few songs and boom, they just walked off. He was steaming mad….freaking out that his drums were not setup proper or something. The rest of the band seemed composed, but Bobby was losing it bigtime.”

It was also reported that Blotzer was injured when he fell off the drum riser.

Bobby Blotzer has taken to his official Ratt facebook page to explain the band’s actions.

Blotzer writes; “We had incredible problems with the sound and stage. And I mean disasteriously bad.”

Blotzer continued in his statement acknowledging falling, but did add; “Thank God I fell in to a stack of Marshall amps.”

In short Blotzer acknowledges their set was somewhat of a ‘train wreck’ ending his statement with; “When it sounds like a train smashing off the track, somethings gotta happen and quick.”

Multiple fans jumped on Blotzer’s statement saying things like; “No DeMartini, No Ratt” and another posted; “Without the lead singer, or lead guitar player, it’s NOT the band.”

However, some fans are much more supportive.

One fan wrote; “Atleast your ok but keep on rockin the tribute.”

Blotzer’s full statement is screen captured below.
