Metal Sludge — On a new episode of the 80’s Glam Metalcast, the guest is rock n’ roll singer Ted Poley.

Poley is most known for fronting Danger Danger but also sings for the super-group Tokyo Motor Fist.

Poley talks about an array of subjects that covers a few choice moments in history including Danger Danger when they tour with Kiss.

Poley talks about how the bands spent their days off while on the “Hot In The Shade” tour in the summer of 1990 and the “Revenge” tour in the spring of 1992.

“We got to go bowling with them, and play laser-tag with them. I got to sight Paul Stanley and shoot him, and that was kind of a high point, because there was my hero. I got to assassinate him with a laser-tag that was kind of awesome.” says Poley laughing.

“We bowled against Gene Simmons. Who bowls like, if he breaks it, he buys it and he doesn’t even care. When he bowls, the ball doesn’t even hit the bowling alley til like 3/4 of the way down. It’s just air-born most of the time, sort of like a Fred Flinstone’s toss. Just lots of fun.” added Poley.

Listen below to Poley tell all kinds of old-school fun stories.
