“80’s In The Park” announce 2016 Florida festival for August 25th-28th
Melbourne, FLORIDA — Florida is known for it’s sunshine, delicious orange juice and of course the “80’s in the Park” music festival.
The Sunshine state will once again give fans of the 80’s something exciting to do at “80’s in the Park”. This year the Melbourne auditorium will host the 4 day party on August 25th through the 28th.
Currently billed for the late summer festival are Quiet Riot, Stryper, Great White, Kip Winger and Ted Poley the voice of Danger Danger. Also appearing will be Tuff, Femme Fatale and Hollywood’s most infamous rock band London with many more bands tba.
In addition to the more than 20 bands, video vixens Tanwy Kitaen and Bobbie Brown will appear and sign autographs. There will also be both food and merchandise vendors and look alikes.

80s in the park 2016
No one would have guessed that 4 years ago, as Kyle Hendry left a country festival that March night in 2013, what was on his mind. Kyle stood in his kitchen talking with his father/business partner Richard
Hendry and around 3am – 80s in the park was born.
“It was the first name we came up with and the domain was available, so we took it as a sign that it had to be done” Hendry has told many people. And so it was, just 45 days’ later ticket went on sale and 120 days after that thousands of screaming 80s fans filled the park to see their favorite bands in sleepy Melbourne Florida.
Over the past 3 years, 80s in the park has seen over 70 bands take the stage and each year the festival strives to rise above the ticket holder’s expectations. This year 80s in the park has done it again, bringing in an amazing line up, elevated the VIP weekend ticket to new heights and added some extras from 80s video fame.
The lineup includes: Stryper, Great White, Quiet Riot, Kip Winger, Femme Fatal, Tuff, Ted Poley of Danger Danger, London, Nova Rex, Burning Starr, Cult Revolution and many more.
Again this year, 80s in the park brings us the new bands with the 80s sounds, returning to the festival is Australian super group Mystery, Angles of Babylon, Burning Heat, Dirty Skirty and featuring pre-teen sensations KRUSH. VIP’s will mix and mingle with the bands at the insane after parties at the Crown plaza Hotel Oceanfront until 4am Friday – Sunday.
The Thursday opening night beach party will host even more bands and all weekend long 80s in the park welcomes the Video Vixens: Tawney Kitaen & Bobbie Brown, both will be signing autographs, posing for photos and selling great 80s merchandise. KISS look a likes and 80s cars on display will fill out the total 80s weekend.
The VIP weekend of Rock is the craziest anywhere, you stay with the bands at the hotel, exclusive VIP performances poolside and in the ballroom midday then you are bused to the auditorium and take your seats up front for the main acts and then brought back to the hotel for more bands, music and party until 4am.
