Metal Sludge — A new music festival will make its official debut this summer at Lynn Family Stadium in Louisville Kentucky.
Stadium Rock 80s will debut the weekend of Saturday and Sunday August 3rd & 4th 2024.
The 2-day event will feature more than a dozen 80’s rock bands, and also include interactive events, a photo booth, games, classic cars, food and much more.
The initial lineup includes multi platinum headliners Queensryche and Great White, along with Slaughter, L.A. Guns, Aldo Nova and Vixen.
Other notable acts appearing include; Trixter, John Corabi, Enuff Z’nuff and Ron Keel Band.
The event will be hosted by comedian Don Jamieson of That Metal Show.

Lynn Family Stadium is ready to rock. The soccer stadium will host Stadium Rock 80s — a new festival combining 1980s rock music and pop culture — on August 3rd and 4th 2024.

Organizers have announced Queensryche, Great White, Slaughter, Aldo Nova, Vixen, Trixter, Enuff Z’Nuff, John Corabi, Ron Keel Band Pretty Boy Floyd and Nova Rex will perform over the two-day event.
The event MC will be That Metal Show‘s Don Jamieson.
To get in the spirit of the festival, Lynn Family Stadium’s Fan Zone will be transformed into an 80s flashback pop experience, complete with a vendor village, photo ops, movie props, cars and memorabilia.
The experience will also feature a DeLorean Time Machine, a Ghostbusters display, giants Rubik’s Cubes, an 80s dance party and more.

Packages include the Mega VIP Experience, with seats right on the field, or a Premium Lawn Party Zone option, giving patrons space to sprawl out and enjoy a true festival experience.
