IT’S HERE … Nöthin’ But A Good Time: The Uncensored History of ’80s Hair Metal, the 3-part Docuseries is now Streaming on Paramount+

Metal Sludge — The wait is over, as a killer new docuseries on Hair Metal has officially arrived.

As of September 17th 2024 the new 3-part docuseries ‘Nothin’ But A Good Time: The Uncensored History of ’80s Hair Metal’ is officially streaming now on Paramount+.

This docuseries was directed by Jeff Tremaine (The Dirt, Jackass) for Gorilla Films and features the who’s who of Hair Metal from throughout the 80’s decade.

There are interviews with a list of stars that includes; Steven Adler (Guns N’ Roses), Bret Michaels (Poison), Don Dokken (Dokken), Stephen Pearcy (Ratt), Tracii Guns and Kelly Nickels (L.A. Guns), Steve Riley (W.A.S.P. / L.A. Guns) Jack Russell and Mark Kendall (Great White), Dave ‘Snake’ Sabo and Rachel Bolan (Skid Row), Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme), Michael Monroe (Hanoi Rocks), Brian Forsythe (Kix), Steve Brown (Trixter), Stevie Rachelle (Tuff), Billy Rowe (JetBoy) and Roxy Petrucci (Vixen).

There are also interviews with others related to the era including; Riki Rachtman (Cathouse / Headbanger’s Ball), Tom Zutaut (A&R Geffen Records), Alan Niven (manager Guns N’ Roses / Great White), Mark ‘WEISSGUY’ Weiss (Photographer), Corey Taylor (Slipknot), Steve O (Jackass), Al Bane ‘For Leather’ (Clothing Designer), Don Adkins (Photographer) and Dee Keel (Whisky-A-Go-Go house agent).

The docuseries was a take on the original New York Times Best Seller book ‘Nöthin’ But a Good Time: The Uncensored History of the ’80s Hard Rock Explosion’ (2021) which was co-authored by Tom Bonjour and Richard Bienstock, both of whom also appear in the docuseries.

The first of 3 episodes is now available on Youtube for free and we’ve shared it below.
