Ratt cancel Florida show over ‘breach of contract’ promoter says ‘they only sold 50 tix’
Facebook — According to a post on the official Ratt facebook page, the band have pulled one of their up coming shows in Florida.
The post notes there was a ‘breach in the contract’ and they will not be appearing at their scheduled show on Friday April 1st 2016.
The message also included the following; “There’s lots of Rocks out there, and sometimes you lift one and there’s something under that you have to side step.”
The promoter is Frank Giglio who has what can be called a colorful background in promotions has commented about Ratt on facebook himself.
The Florida based promoter tells fans online; “The bands agent asked us to do him a favor and pick up the show 3 weeks ago.”
Giglio then engaged a few fans stating; “They only sold 50 tickets” and added “There is not much to refund.”
According to online promotions the tickets sold for $ 19.00 each.
The event will still take place on Friday April 1st 2016 in St. Pete Florida at the “State Theatre.” As of press time the other advertised groups (Firehouse, Trixter) are still set to appear.
The April Fool’s Day show is billed as ‘Hairapalooza’ and posters for the event had featured Ratt as the headliner who have now cancelled.
