Metal Sludge — The Almost Human youtube channel has recently uploaded and shared a video about Riki Rachtman.
The Poser is the title of the clip, which clocks in at 3:43 and it’s pretty much a diss track that trashes Rachtman for what the channel alleges, are the former MTV host’s ‘poser ways’.
Rachtman gets hammered for ‘jumping on band wagons’ according to the clip which also claims his favorite band was Motley Crue but when things changed, he then liked Nirvana.
The narrator who is unknown says Rachtman was ‘all over their nuts’.
As the assault continues the background includes snippets of Rachtman doing interviews, segments backstage, on stage, in clubs and out on the town.
Other notable names mentioned include Guns N’ Roses, Faster Pussycat, JetBoy, Vixen, Trixter, Slayer, Skid Row, Great White, Ratt and Slaughter.
They cover it all including Rachtman appearing in the Decline Of Western Civilization Part 2 The Metal Years and ‘his dream job’ according to the voice when he hosted Headbanger’s Ball.
The popular channel has over 23,000 subscribers and regularly reports on related music news with a sarcastic approach at times.
Rachtman is still active today on social media, has a few podcasts and hosts events for Nascar, various rock shows and even recently appeared at Fashion Week in New York City.
