LAS VEGAS, Nevada — In a brand new interview on the This, That & The Other radio show, the subject is none other than Faster Pussycat singer Taime Downe.

TT&TO is hosted by Troy Patrick Farrell, who has been hosting the show weekly from Sin City since 2017.

Downe, 60, just released a brand new Faster Pussycat single ‘Motorbike‘ which we previously covered in our article, ‘GUTTER ROCK … Faster Pussycat announce new single ‘Motorbike’ as they ready for Spring Tour.

Now Downe is getting his group together for a U.S. tour which will see them playing 30+ shows coast to coast.

This interview, the new single and tour are the band’s first since Downe suffered an unthinkable loss on The 80’s Cruise back in early March.

TT&TO host Farrell kicks off the interview by asking Downe how he is doing; “Yeah, I am doing alright… just trying to get stuff ready for tour, gathering the masses, gathering the sh!t… (we’re) going out next week.”

Farrell then talks to Downe about the local Las Vegas club ‘Count Vamp’d‘, which recently announced they’re about to close roughly a month after Faster Pussycat appear there May 30th 2025 with special guests VAIN.

Downe on where Faster Pussycat will play next, now that the Sin City hot-spot (‘Count Vamp’d‘) is about to close; “We have been going there, since it first opened, when it was called ‘Feelgood’s Rock Bar & Grill‘ (co-owned by Mötley Crüe vocalist Vince Neil), that’s when I met Danny (Koker) on our motorcycle rides.”

Farrell then asks where everyone will go after ‘Vamp’d‘ closes; “I’m sure we will find some place… I am sure we will find some place to get thrown out of!” says Downe laughing.

“It takes a lot of work to run (a club), and do it for that many years. And it’s not just a club. It’s a restaurant, you got your employees… you know, it takes a lot of work to do that, you get burned (out) on stuff, everybody does. I’ve run clubs over the years, it runs its course, ya know,” adds Downe.

Ironically, Downe tells listeners he’s working on another new single which will be aptly titled; ‘Pretty Ugly‘, which was the name of a club the singer launched in Hollywood in the 1990’s.

Downe also talks about his band members (Sam Bam Koltun, Chad Stewart, Danny Nordahl and Kieran Robertson) who he showers with tons of love saying; “They’re a blessingI got a good bunch of guys, it’s a good family“, and praises them how they have been there for him while going through tough times.

In the end it appears that Downe is focused and healthy as he states; “I’m doing what I am supposed to be doing. Talking to my friends, my agent, moving forward, staying positive, going on with my day and trying to make it as positive as possible.”

Downe also recently celebrated an anniversary for being sober writing on his social media on April 27th 2025: “8 years smoke, drug free and sober today”, hash-tagged with #itsbeenahardyear

Bravo to Taime Downe, and we implore all of our readers to go see Faster Pussycat on their next tour.
