LOS ANGELES, California — Our friends over at 80’s Metal Recycle Bin have officially re-launched and re-branded their channel and show… and it’s now going to be called Get On The Bus.

80’s Metal Recycle Bin launched in December of 2020 and their first official Get On The Bus interview is with former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony.

The interview is the first of many to come from the new channel and Anthony‘s interview is described as follows from Get On The Bus.

We hit the road to Las Vegas for a once in a lifetime sit down with bass legend Michael Anthony, the backbone of Van Halen and The Circle with Sammy Hagar. Taking a break from his “Best Of All Worlds” residency at the MGM, Mike hopped off his tour bus and onto ours, ”Get On The Bus” for an unforgettable conversation.

A true icon and all around great guy, he gave us more than we ever imagined. The actual first hand stories, meeting the Van Halen brothers, legendary Pasadena backyard gigs, their first Hollywood club shows, and how those iconic early Van Halen tracks came together. He opened up about Ed’s guitar tinkering, the moment the band realized Mikey had an incredible voice, and even shared some regrets from the Van Halen years.

This is THE interview Van Halen fans have been waiting for. Buckle up and Get On The Bus with Michael Anthony!

Get On The Bus is run by Drew ‘Rose’ Hanna and Jimmy ‘D’ Darby from the band WildSide and they’re turning heads with their brand new bad-ass tricked out tour bus.

The guys have been bringing fans high-quality content and related interviews with the who’s-who of the 80’s and 90’s rock and metal genre for the last 5 years, but now they have turned the page.

The new Get On The Bus tour bus will see the pair take their tricked out mobile studio on tour where they will travel and interview celebrities from all ends of the entertainment industry.

Rose
took to social media and shared video clip of their new ride, and it’s impressive for sure.

Get On The Bus made a recent stop at the Rock For Ronnie benefit in Los Angeles where the guys grabbed interviews with a few of rock n’ roll’s favorites, including Sebastian Bach among others.

Rose shared some thoughts on the duo’s new project saying: “The new channel name also brings brand new interviews with all your music favs shot in our beautiful mobile, state-of-the-art broadcast studio. We will be taking our journey on the road to festivals, concerts, events… wherever the music takes us. Newest sponsors include Drum Workshop Inc. (DW Drums) @SchecterGuitars and Ritual Brewing Co.”

Get On The Bus will be unique in a sense, as they bring their podcast and interview studio, right to the artist.

They will travel to shows, events and festivals across the U.S. as their rolling interview lounge and studio will allow them to pull right into the parking lot at a club, a theater, arena or stadium.

In recent years the channel has interviewed members of; Queensrÿche, Night Ranger, Ratt, Dio, Guns N’ Roses, Stryper, Black Sabbath, Great White, Quiet Riot, Y&T, Warrant, L.A. Guns, Slaughter, Skid Row, TNT, Faster Pussycat and more.
