BulletBoys share new group shot and related 2025 tour dates

Metal Sludge — After our recent post about the BulletBoys welcoming back original bassist and co-founder Lonnie Vencent, we’ve received incoming via email from the band’s new management team.

The band’s leader Marq Torien first informed us via his official Instagram account that our recent article included information that was according to the frontman… ‘false‘.

In our Metal Sludge article from earlier in the week ‘HE’S BACK … BulletBoys welcome back Original Bassist and Co-Founder Lonnie Vencent‘, we reported from an industry source that both Ira Black (guitars) and Brad Lang (bass) had quit the band in recent months.

However, according to Torien, that was not the case.

The BulletBoys management team have now forwarded us an official statement which we have shared below.

“Brad Lang was let go to make way for Lonnie’s return and we wish him the best going forward.

Ira Black and former management were dismissed due to their inability to align with the band’s creative vision, ensuring that Bulletboys can move forward and focus on new music without disruption.”

The band have recently posted that they have commenced recording a new studio album.

As of today, December 10th 2024, BulletBoys have just shared a new group photo that includes; Torien (vocals and guitars), Vencent (bass), their new lead guitarist Jake Faun and Fred Aching (drums).

According to the band’s Wikipedia here, Faun will be the 11th guitarist, while Aching is the group’s 15th drummer.

Over the band’s history, they have also featured 6 bassists including Vencent while Torien has been the constant member and lone lead-vocalist from their 1987 formation to date.

The group have also featured the original line-up with Torien (vocals and guitar), Vencent (bass), Mick Sweda (lead guitar) and Jimmy D’Anda (drums) on 4 different occasions (1987–1993, 1999–2000, 2011, 2019–2022).

The BulletBoys have a short list of tour dates that have just been announced for 2025 as well.
