LAS VEGAS, Nevada — We’re just days into 2026 and like every January people in droves are hitting the gym, starting a new diet and doing their best to stick to those New Year’s resolutions.

That includes musicians and rock stars alike… including guitarist extraordinaire Johnny Monaco.

Monaco as most know, is a talented guy when it comes to playing, writing, ripping, singing and now it appears, working out.

Right off the bat, we’re going to rename Johnny, Rocky... because Rocky Monaco has a nice ring to it.

And, based off of the accompanying video montage of Monaco‘s latest workout, that heavy-bag work, which included some MMA style elbows looked legit.

Monaco went on a mild mini rant last week and told his Facebook fans the following: “I started training to fight that lady in my building who called me an idiot but fell in love. We already broke up, so. 🥊❤️”

If Kane Roberts can bulk up, then so can Johnny.

So for anyone who plans to attend any shows with Monaco on guitar, just know that heckling from the crowd might be a bad idea… cause if Rocky Monaco is ready to fight the neighbor lady… let’s just assume he might come off the stage for you too.

In looking over Monaco‘s work-out post, we noticed a couple stand-out comments from a few 80’s rock n’ roll legends, who had something to add.

Former Enuff Z’Nuff frontman Donnie Vie chimed in with: “Love the sweat suit. I go 3-4 times a week now. Im addicted to it, and I feel like shit when I dont. Plus now I can wear anything and be comfortable. Without the button on my pants always tied with a shoelace.”

Another Chicago native also added his 2-cents as D’Molls drummer Billy “Dior” McCarthy added: “Dude. you’re too funny.”

The video ends with Moncao making-love to one of his mannequins – it appears to be Charlotte – which includes the pair enjoying an after session cigarette.
