VEGAS ROCKS! Magazine is proud to announce the Fourth Annual VEGAS ROCKS! Magazine Music Awards 2013! This event will be celebrating VEGAS ROCKS! Magazine’s 9th Anniversary for being in production. And to mark this amazing event, the VEGAS ROCKS! MAGAZINE MUSIC AWARDS will be held Sunday, August 25th, 2013 at the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel & Casino inside The JOINT!
“A CELEBRATION OF CLASSIC ROCK”
Rock n’ Roll history Part 4 will take place again with this year’s theme of “A CELEBRATION OF CLASSIC ROCK” and will feature some of the most legendary artists in the music business. JON ANDERSON (YES) will be honored with the “VOICE OF PROGRESSIVE MUSIC” Award, CARL PALMER (EMERSON LAKE & PALMER/ ASIA) will receive the “DRUM LEGEND ICON” Award, ZAKK WYLDE will receive the “RIFF MONSTER” Award and newcomer LAURA WILDE will receive “Best New Female Artist” Award. GEOFF TATE’S QUEENSRYCHE will open the show with a performance, CARL PALMER will be performing a historic ELP song with JORDAN RUDESS from DREAM THEATER and RUDY SARZO (DIO/ QUIET RIOT) and JON ANDERSON will also perform with CARL PALMER. SLAUGHTER will also be honored for the evening and will be participating in the ALL-STAR CELEBRITY JAM for the finale of the show with VINCE NEIL (MOTLEY CRUE), SIMON WRIGHT (AC/DC) JAMES KOTTAK (THE SCORPIONS) and many others. Other participants for the show include MARK KENDALL and MICHAEL LARDIE (GREAT WHITE), CHRIS HOLMES (W.A.S.P.), RON JEREMY, DJ ASHBA (GUNS N’ ROSES), DANNY KOKER ("THE COUNT") from "Counting Cars", KATIE DARYL (AXS TV) and many more!. The event will be hosted by the Publishing Queen of Rock n’ Roll, Sally Steele, VEGAS ROCKS! Magazine Publisher/ Founder/ CEO and JAMES KOTTAK from the SCORPIONS! The event will be preceded by a Grand Rock n’ Roll Royal Red Carpet media event with appearances with some of the most famous rock artists in the music industry. This will truly be a night to remember for rock n’ roll!
There will be historic performances with all of the honorees including a Special All-Star Finale! MANY SURPRISE SPECIAL GUESTS WILL BE THERE!
