APPETITE FOR DEATH?
Guns N’ Roses singer Axl Rose is not dead
Twitter — Just like Jim Gillette being killed on a Jet-Ski, along with Justin Bieber, R Kelly and Brad Pitt it appears Axl Rose’s recent death was just another internet hoax.
The internet grabbed a phony mock up MSNBC story that claimed the 52 year old Guns N’ Roses singer was found dead in his West Hollywood home. But like the slew of celebrity deaths (all on a Jet-Ski in the Turks & Caicos Islands) it’s a fake story.
This story also included a quote from a local police source.
These fake stories of celebrity death are seemingly becoming more frequent and with facebook, twitter and the rest of the social networks it doesn’t take long for this nonsense to go viral.
Rose himself tweeted following after his death story started making the rounds; “If I’m dead do I still have to pay taxes?”
The sole remaining original member of Guns N’ Roses followed that tweet up with a second. That tweet was a photo of a mixing board in a studio. Perhaps this is a hint that not only is Axl alive, but working on new material? We shall see.
To those who continue to e-kill celebrities, we offer Guns N’ Roses classic “Patience.”
In time we’ll all be dead, just give it a little patience.
