Hardcore Superstar to make first stateside (Hollywood) appearance in a decade

Sweden — For the first time in 10 years, finally Hardcore Superstar, the street metal heroes from Gothenburg, Sweden will return to the USA!

Fresh off a 6 week European theater and arena tour, Hardcore Superstar are currently in the studio, recording their 10th studio album. Listen to the first song of this album due to be released in April below.

This song has already been mixed by producer Joe Barresi (Slipknot’s latest album, Judas Priest, Tool, Jane’s Addiction, Buckcherry).

On January 24 – 2015 (NAMM Saturday!) Hardcore Superstar will headline the “Whisky-A-Go-Go” in Hollywood, California. This will be the band’s first ever appearance at the most famous rock club on the Sunset Strip.

This will be a one-off show while the band is in the studio in L.A.

A full US tour for later in the year is being routed as we speak.

Hardcore Superstar has opened for AC/DC, KISS, Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Motorhead on their most recent tours in Europe.

Last year they co-headlined a European tour with Buckcherry. 76% of those shows were sold out. Here is a recap of that tour to get an idea of what to expect when these guys hit US shores in the new year:

The band from Gothenburg formed in 1997 and has had continued success in their home of Sweden and throughout parts of Europe.  The group has released 9 albums to date including their 4th studio release “No Regrets” which produced the hit single “Honey Tongue”, which reached #3 on the Swedish charts.

The band’s 5th and self titled release from 2005 peaked at #12 on the Swedish album charts. The record was also nominated for a Swedish Grammy.

Much of that hard rock success can be attributed to one of their biggest hits to date “We Don’t Celebrate Sunday’s” which can be heard below along with another popular track “Wild Boys”.
