Red Dragon Cartel shows pushed back due to Jake E Lee back injury, singer admits document delay as well
News — Metal Sludge reported >HERE< yesterday that Red Dragon Cartel were having some document issues regarding their singer Darren James Smith not being able to enter the United States. Smith is Canadian.
We reached out to Smith yesterday via his official Facebook and asked him if this was in fact true.
Today we got his answer, and thank Smith for his reply, but felt it necessary to redact part of this.
The content of his message to Metal Sludge is noted below.
Red Dragon Cartel were scheduled to play 3 shows this coming week (see below) to coincide with the annual NAMM convention.The band has now officially posted their press release.
Ironically the show in Seattle Washington at “El Corazon” on January 26th 2015 is a make-up show from last June 19th 2014 when the band postponed the date (see below).According to their former agent, the June 2014 date was pushed back for similar (VISA) reasons.
