Boardwalk Rock adds Alice In Chains in place of Mötley Crüe

OCEAN CITY, Maryland — The Boardwalk Rock Music Festival have just announced that Mötley Crüe will be pulling out of the event due to Vince Neil‘s health.

The band released an official statement earlier today that the festival has shared with ticket buyers, and it’s already been announced that Alice In Chains will take their place.

A statement from the event reads as follows: “We’re excited to welcome Alice in Chains to the first-ever Boardwalk Rock lineup! ⛓️

Due to health concerns, Mötley Crüe will no longer be able to join us in Ocean City this May. We’ll miss them and wish them well. Swipe to read a full message from the band.”

The Boardwalk Rock Music Festival is set to take place on Saturday May 17th and Sunday May 18th 2025, in Ocean City Maryland.

The Saturday will be headlined by Def Leppard with Alice In Chains as direct support, along with Halestorm, Bush, Chevelle, Mammoth WVH, Flyleaf, The Struts, Extreme, Puddle Of Mudd, Everclear, Trapt, Kat Von D and Royale Lynn also appearing.

The Sunday will be headlined by Nickelback with Shinedown as direct support, along with Three Days Grace, Alice Cooper, 3 Doors Down, Bret Michaels of Poison, Candlebox, Night Ranger, Crossfade, Dorothy, Black Stone Cherry, Lit, Fuel, Saliva and Tim Montana.
