CRUISE NEWS — Many of our readers are familiar with the Waste Some Time with Jason Green podcast and we’re going to share a few of his recent Vlogs below and update this article as he releases new ones from the recent music cruises he attended.
Green took part in both The 80’s Cruise and the Monsters of Rock Cruise, which lined up perfectly with only 1 day separating the two annual water festivals.
The 80’s Cruise set sail from a Miami Florida port on Sunday March 2nd, and it returned on Sunday March 9th.
The very next day, the Monsters of Rock Cruise set sail from the same Miami port on Monday March 10th thru Saturday March 15th.

Green was acting as a civilian filming content for his Vlog on the 1st water venture, but on the 2nd, he was working his regular job as Tour Manager for Stephen Pearcy of Ratt.
Unfortunately we all now know what happened on the 1st night of The 80’s Cruise with the tragic story that sadly involved Faster Pussycat singer Taime Downe‘s Fiancée Kimberly Burch.
Green has shared a Vlog ‘THE 80S CRUISE 2025: DAY ONE‘ from March 2nd that is surreal to watch, as he takes you through the first day and night on the ship, which included that initial ‘Oscar, Oscar, Oscar‘ call that was over-heard on the ship’s public address system.
Green has also shared a 2nd Vlog ‘WASTE SOME TIME -LIVE- CRUISE RECAP‘, that is recapping some of what took place on both of the cruises, where he delves into how things unfolded to his viewers.
Green also explains how both irony, and shock over the course of each cruise had everyone on board experiencing a wave of emotions.
There was also unfortunate news on the Monsters Of Rock Cruise when Ted Poley‘s drummer Paul del Bocchio suffered a Heart-Attack, and we’re happy to report that del Bocchio was revived and he’s currently in a Miami area Hospital.
Green, 50, is a New York City native but now resides in Las Vegas after trading one fast paced city for another with his move west on New Year’s Eve of 1999.
We will be sure to update this article with Green‘s additional Vlogs, which he has told Metal Sludge there will be several coming this week and next, most of which will be documenting The 80’s Cruise and everyone’s favorite, the Monsters Of Rock Cruise.
