NAMM invades Anaheim California January 20th-24th 2026

ANAHEIM, California — The annual National Association of Music Merchants exhibit & convention invades Southern California in late January 2026, and there are events and happenings from morning til after midnight for 5 days straight.

The event also known as the NAMM convention will take place from January 20th – 24th, but the actual exhibits will happen January 22nd – 24th (Thursday, Friday and Saturday).

The NAMM show will also be celebrating 50 years in Anaheim as the event started it’s run in Southern California back in 1976 even though its origins go way back to 1901.

More about NAMM is shared below, including a star-studded list of dozens of pop, rock and metal musicians who will be appearing at the official “JAMM NIGHT” hosted by Paulie Z.


The NAMM 2026 concert schedule centers around key events like the Yamaha Night of Worship (Jan 22) and the Yamaha All-Star Concert (Jan 23) featuring The War and Treaty, Alana Springsteen, and Ethan Bortnick on the Grand Plaza, alongside the Bass Magazine Awards (Jan 22) with Mike Dirnt, Les Claypool, Marcus Miller, and others, plus the She Rocks Awards (Jan 23) and various Bands at NAMM performances throughout the January 20-24 show in Anaheim.

Wednesday, Jan 21 (Global Media Day):

  • The Runarounds: A full-throttle alt-rock performance by the band from the Prime Video series.
  • Margaret Glaspy & Molly Tuttle: Also featured at this media-focused event.
  • Thursday, Jan 22:
    • Yamaha Night of Worship: Kick-off event on the Yamaha Grand Plaza Stage.
    • Bass Magazine Awards: At The Observatory, featuring Mike Dirnt (Green Day), Les Claypool (Primus), Marcus Miller, Laura Lee (Khruangbin), and Blu DeTiger.
  • Friday, Jan 23:
    • She Rocks Awards: Honoring women in music and audio.
    • Yamaha All-Star Concert: On the Grand Plaza, with The War and Treaty, Alana Springsteen, Sheléa, and Ethan Bortnick.
      Sugar Fix: A glam/hair metal band playing the NAMM Marriott Stage at 10 PM (free entry with badge).
