LOS ANGELES, California — In a series of celebratory releases by boutique labels and distributors, WARRANT and their 4th album “Ultraphobic” are the latest 80’s act to see a Vinyl release for the first time ever by DEKO Entertainment.
WARRANT had huge success with their debut “Dirty, Rotten, Filthy, Stinkin’, Rich” (1989), the follow-up “Cherry Pie” (1990) and their final major label release “Dog Eat Dog” (1992) all on Columbia Records.
The band went from the Sunset Strip to selling millions of records, that is until the industry shifted and ultimately left WARRANT among others all scrambling for a new home which they found on CMC International for their 1995 release “Ultraphobic”.
At the time, Vinyl was well out of fashion and most if not all of the releases throughout the 1990’s saw their labels issuing music via CD only and occasionally on Cassette.
However, it’s now 30 years later, and the Vinyl craze has hit a fever pitch.
DEKO Entertainment is one of those labels that are bringing the hardcore fans of select catalog releases back to life, and many of these releases seeing it hit the market for the first time ever on Vinyl.
DEKO Entertainment has done exactly this with WARRANT “Ultraphobic”, in addition to select titles from Dokken, Slaughter, and Union among others.
Below is an official press release from DEKO Entertainment promoting WARRANT “Ultraphobic”.

Warrant was formed in 1984 in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, and experienced success from 1989 to 1996 with five albums reaching international sales of over 10 million. The band first came into the national spotlight with their double platinum debut album Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich (1989) and one of its singles, “Heaven”, which reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. The band’s success continued in the early 1990s with the double platinum album Cherry Pie (1990), which provided the hit song of the same name.
In 1992, Warrant released their third album, the critically acclaimed Dog Eat Dog. The record achieved only moderate commercial success compared with the first two albums but still sold over 500,000 copies reaching Gold status and charting at No. 25 on the US Billboard charts. The band’s fourth album Ultraphobic produced by a returning Beau Hill (Alice Cooper, Ratt, etc…) was released in March 1995 and, featured the singles “Family Picnic”, “Followed” and the ballad “Stronger Now”.
