BUENOS ARIES, Argentina — Guns N’ Roses took the stage for their 2nd of two shows at ‘Estadio Huracán‘ in Buenos Aires Argentina on Saturday October 18th 2025 and the night didn’t go well.
The band opened with “Welcome To The Jungle” and before song #2, Axl Rose seemed to have reverted back to his old-self having an on-stage meltdown in front of the massive crowd.
As the opening number ended Rose turned and threw (fast pitch) his wire-less microphone straight into new drummer Isaac Carpenter‘s front bass drum head.
Rose clearly furious, then removed his leather jacket and stormed off stage into a tented side-room off Slash‘s side of the stage.
Rose was visibly angry as the rest of the group ended the song. (multiple videos shared below).
Guns N’ Roses are in the midst of their fall Latin American tour, and played the same venue the previous evening.
The show continued but later in the set, Rose walked up to and kicked in the front of Carpenter‘s bass-drum head and at some point Rose is heard saying into a live microphone, “I guess I will just try and wing this”, seemingly referencing an issue with his in-ear monitors, or something to do with the sound.
Rose, 63, has for the most part kept his temper in check for many years, decades even, but the weekend’s on-stage meltdown was a reminder of his past episodes.
During these recent incidents you can see the band, along with stage crew and staff all seemingly trying to get to the bottom of what caused their singer to react as such, not once, but twice during their live show.
We have shared various angles of the incident and in the first mic throw happens at the very end of “Welcome To The Jungle”, which as noted above was the band’s opening number.
