Guns N’ Roses taps Alice In Chains and Lenny Kravitz for select dates
Music Times — Guns N’ Roses have announced the first round of supporting acts for their Summer 2016 Reunion Tour. The band will reportedly play with Alice In Chains in Detroit, Washington, D.C., Kansas City and Chicago, as well as Lenny Kravitz in Foxboro and East Rutherford.
According to NME, the summer tour will run through North America from June 23 to Aug. 22. There is potential for international dates, but those haven’t been announced as of yet. In addition to his tour with Guns N’ Roses, Axl Rose will also replace Brian Johnson as the vocal lead for AC/DC while he recovers from hearing troubles.
AC/DC has live dates in Europe that run through May and June, before the Guns N’ Roses tour kicks off for the summer.
“I don’t normally do gigs like this,” Kravitz recently told Rolling Stone. “But sometimes you’ve got to do things for the fun of it, for the experience. I’m looking forward to playing with them and celebrating them coming back together.”
