Metal Sludge — It seems there is still some bad blood from Danger Danger singer Ted Poley directed at Rock N’ Skull promoter Justin Murr.
As many may recall, Poley had a huge falling out with Murr back in 2017 over his investment in the Rock N’ Skull concert series.
Poley alleges that Murr stole $40,000.00 from him that was related to the “Avanti’s Dome” festival featuring Ace Frehley Steel Panther, Don Dokken, Lita Ford, L.A. Guns, Warrant, Quiet Riot and 25 other bands.
In the end, the “Avanti’s Dome” event never happened and a total of 34 advertised artists cancelled or pulled out due to various reasons.
Now Murr is hospitalized and battling Covid-19, and Poley has taken to his official Facebook page to wish the worst for Murr.
Poley writes: “Hahahaha Karma is knocking at your door Justin you POS!”
Poley also commented further when some online supporters took up for Murr in general: “He stole $40,000 from me because I tried to help put a festival (on) for all of you. $40,000. That could’ve gone to charity. I’m sick over it still.”
Poley continued: “He took my money and he never gave it to the bands he scammed me and other for even more than that.”
In another reply Poley wrote: “In most cases it’s bad luck to wish that but anybody who knows this asshole also knows that in this case it is absolutely worth the wait. And I know several people who are thinking it but just don’t have the balls to say it out loud. Or they’re just nicer than me.”
“Justin! Get ready to meet the guy that you hid behind. When you get to the pearly gates they’re going to slap your hand and tell you that you are in the wrong line. Yours starts downstairs. Bring sunscreen. Lol. Karma is brewing in his lungs right now. Let’s hope it wins. GO KARMA!” wrote Poley
After posting numerous comments related, it appears Poley has been warned by Facebook about his posts, and might be removed for a period and sent to Facebook jail.
Poley came out against his former partner Murr in July of 2017 stating: “Total bullshit, this festival is a scam, there is not even an event poster anymore, I was Mr Murr’s partner for 6 months and he fucked me over bad! The fans must know the real truth.”
Poley told Metal Sludge: “Justin Murr is stealing the fans money with a bait and switch festival.”
Writing to his friends earlier today Poley wrote: “Hey everybody I’ll see you in a week Facebook is about to put me in Facebook jail for commenting about that POS Justin and I’m gonna keep doing it so I’ll see ya when I see you!”
Murr according to sources is still hospitalized with Covid-19 in Illinois where the Covid-19 Delta variant is dominating the local population says the Illinois News Room.
