HORSING AROUND
Sebastian Bach converts backyard Lawn Mower Shed into Studio for next Album

STUDIO CITY, California — Heavy Metal singer Sebastian Bach has turned down the loud music and says his next record will be “more uplifting and fun.

The former Skid Row screamer, who has boasted throughout his career for his love of heavy metal music says he is making some changes for his next recording.

“I am looking for a new record label.” says Bach

In a new web series titled “Keep Up With The Sebastian’s” found on his official YouTube channel Bach talks about his new plans for a “California Record”.

Bach has uploaded 2 clips to his channel detailing nearly an hour of him with his wife, his kids, construction workers and musician friends.

Bach tells viewers “This is gonna be the drum hut” as he walks into his backyard.

Viewers see what looks like a typical backyard shed, as Bach explains: “This was a shed on the property, that had a bunch of lawn equipment in it. And I think it’s perfect for playing the drums.”

Construction workers are seen cutting wood, adding insulation and running wiring for overhead lights while Bach narrates his backyard and the surroundings.

In the fall of 2017 Bach told Australia’s Hysteria.Com the following: “The thing is that my records, mostly, have had a lot of aggression in them, and I’m not feeling aggressive right now. So I’m not gonna pretend to channel some anger that’s not real.”

Bach adds: “My tastes have changed a bit since my doctor told me that if I wanna keep my hearing in great shape, I have to turn the music down sometimes. He told me this a couple of years back. And since he told me that, I’ve taken his advice and I don’t crank my music as loud as it will go anymore, and that’s all I can tell you.”

The singer elaborates on the “California Record” comment stating: “Well, you know, California has a great history of music that sounds like Southern California. You know, The Doors’ ‘L.A. Woman’. The sound of, like, Steely Dan, Van Halen, Motley Crue. Los Angeles has a great sound of its own, and I wanna make my record. You know, The Eagles … okay, there you go. My next record will be a mix between The Eagles and Motley Crue. [says the singer laughing] Both sound California, and I want… I live here now, so I wanna make a record that sounds like it’s made here.”

The former New Jersey resident has now lived in the greater Los Angeles area since being divorced by his ex-wife Maria Bierk back in 2011. The couple were married for 18 years and have 3 children together.

Bach then married his girlfriend of 6 months, Suzzane Le in the fall of 2015. Le has 2 children of her own.
