NEW YORK CITY, New York — Huge news from the Big Apple as Twisted Sister have just announced they will go forward with select shows featuring Sebastian Bach as lead vocalist.
The news comes just a few weeks after the band was forced to put on the brakes when it was determined that the band’s frontman Dee Snider would be unable to move forward with their massive reunion plans due to recently uncovered health concerns for the 70 year old.
Twisted Sister will now forge ahead and perform select dates, and have made the decision to do so with the former Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach out front.
If there is anyone capable of filling the shoes of Dee Snider, Bach just might be that guy.
Below is the statement being circulated now…
Twisted Sister Statement
“Twisted Sister members Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda are thrilled to announce that Iconic Vocalist and Front Man, Sebastian Bach, will be fronting the band for a handful of select dates this fall.
These appearances do not affect or conflict with Sebastian’s current and future solo touring schedule, which remains fully intact.”

One more development that happened since the original Twisted Sister reunion news broke late last fall, is that Joey Cassata will be playing drums on the up coming shows along with Bach out front.
Cassata posted the following on social media earlier today as the latest news broke: “SUPER excited (and beyond honored) to be drumming for this LEGENDARY band!! I’ve been an SMF since I was 8 years old… and now this?! Absolutely surreal. “YOU CAN’T STOP ROCK AND ROLL!!” Let’s gooooo!!!”
Twisted Sister initially announced their big return back in September of 2025 and that the lineup would include both classic era guitarists Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda.
The band also stated they would bring along Joe Franco on drums in place of the late A.J. Pero, and Russell Pzutto on bass as the band’s classic 4-stringer Mark Mendoza did not want to participate due to irreconcilable differences.
Of course Snider was also included until this unfortunate turn of events regarding his health… so now it appears Bach will be the band’s official frontman, at least for now and Cassata on drums.
Like him or not, Bach is the epitome of everything Twisted Sister has stood for over the years… the band’s signature songs like; “I Wanna Rock”, “We’re Not Gonna Take It” and “The Kids Are Back“… pretty much sum-up Bach and how he’s lived his life.
Bach has been an SMF for decades and has even been seen standing side stage at festivals watching Twisted Sister perform, including a clip found on YouTube from 2010.
Back in March of 2016 Bach appeared on an episode of Breaking The Band with Finnish rockers Santa Cruz and together they played Twisted Sister‘s “We’re Not Gonna Take It.”
Blabbermouth covered that story which in-parts reads: “Video footage of former SKID ROW singer Sebastian Bach performing the TWISTED SISTER classic “I Wanna Rock” with Finnish rockers SANTA CRUZ can be seen below. The clip is taken from AXS TV‘s original music series “Breaking Band”, which premiered in January. The documentary-style series was hosted by ROYAL MACHINES vocalist Donovan Leitch and featured six 30-minute episodes packed with powerhouse performances and appearances from some of the industry’s biggest names.”
Now as the 2026 concert season approaches it appears that there just might be some Twisted Sister shows coming to your town after-all.
