Metal Sludge — In a recent social media blast by Wolfgang Van Halen, the Mammoth WVH frontman seems to be throwing some shade at Eddie Trunk.
Van Halen has become known for his short fuse on social media, mainly Twitter and once again he has barked at someone for seemingly no reason.
Trunk tweeted back on August 17th 2022 that he was surprised at how quick the Taylor Hawkins tribute shows came together, but was miffed that it’s been almost 2 years since Eddie Van Halen had passed and there is nothing for the legendary guitarist.
Trunk wrote: “All the Taylor Hawkins tribute stuff looks amazing and well deserved. But every @VanHalen has to be trying to figure out how two massive events in 2 countries could come together in months for Taylor, and almost 2 years after @eddievanhalen passed nothing..”
While Trunk did tag both Van Halen and Eddie Van Halen, he did not tag Wolfgang Van Halen.
The youngest Van Halen, and only child of the late great guitarist then replied to Trunk with: “It’s not my job to help you people deal with my dad dying. If I can even begin to try and collect myself during all the immature harassment from these type of passive aggressive arguments and insults for the past two years, then you can figure it out too. I’m just so done.”
Eddie Van Halen passed away on October 6th 2020.
