“They’re jealous of my dead boyfriend”
Carrie Stevens on dating after Eric Carr of Kiss

THE HAIR METAL GURU — Former Playboy Playmate Carrie Stevens is the latest guest on The Hair Metal Guru podcast, and she doesn’t hold back.

Stevens, 56, is most known for her work with Playboy and her relationship with the late Eric Carr of Kiss.

The Guru hosted Stevens on a brand new episode of his popular podcast and for more than 2 hours and 30 minutes she tells her story.

Stevens was Carr‘s girlfriend at the end of his life while he fought Cancer, but sadly the legendary Kiss drummer lost that battle in November of 1991.

Stevens talks about growing up a small town girl, who was shy and reserved, but after attending a rock concert in the 1980’s… all of that changed comparing herself to Olivia Newton-John in the movie Grease.

Stevens also shares many personal experiences related to various members of Kiss including Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley and Bruce Kulick.

At times it appears that her relationship with the Kiss band in general was full of highs and lows, and that included dealing with Simmons and Stanley after their drummer’s death.

Stanley has gone on record to state that at Carr‘s funeral the former Playboy Playmate had removed drum-sticks from the drummer’s hands while he was in the casket.

Stevens denies this out-right and unloads on the Starchild.

Wikipedia writes: “Carr had also been in a nearly four-year relationship with future model/actress Carrie Stevens at the time of his death. He had been planning on giving her an engagement ring for her birthday.”

More from Wikipedia: “Although it was not publicized at the time, Carr’s death was considered controversial amongst his family and Kiss. Both Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons were labeled the “bad guys” by Carr for booting him out of the band and not supporting him in his time of need. The two were not made aware of this until they attended his funeral and were treated with hostility by Carr’s family and friends. Stanley wrote in his autobiography that, at the time, he believed the allegation of mistreating Carr was simply untrue and that he did what he thought was right to support him. However, during Carr’s service, Stanley admitted to “sobbing uncontrollably” and came to regret how he had treated Carr during his illness.

There are several subjects covered as well like her life related to Playboy and Hugh Hefner, along with her time spent with Hall Of Fame quarterback John Elway of the Denver Broncos.
