l Sludge — It’s almost go time for the summer tour season to kick into high gear.

Yesterday L.A. Guns founder, lead guitarist and main song-writer Tracii Guns

posted an update that simply read: “Let’s go already” with some laughing emojis and sharing the band’s summer tour itinerary.

Less than 24 hours later, Guns announced the band’s newest member, Shawn Duncan on drums.

“Inwould@like to personally welcome @shawnduncan007 into the @laguns family “ wrote Guns on his Facebook.

L.A. Guns features classic era members Guns on lead guitar and Phil Lewis on vocals.

The 5 piece also includes Hollywood veteran Johnny Martin on bass, Ace Von Johnson on gu itars along with newest member Duncan on drums.

According to the band’s Wikipedia, Duncan will be the 12th drummer and 39th member overall of the group L.A. Guns.

There are also a few other notable lineups on the same Wikipedia…

called Tracii Guns’ L.A. Guns and Steve Riley’s L.A. Guns which have featured 14 and 5 members each respectively.

L.A. Guns will be part of a 3 band tour package featuring Tom Keifer (the voice of Cinderella) along with tour openers Faster Pussycat.
