Lynch Mob issue statement regarding death of Emperors And Elephants guitarist Jeff Windisch
Los Angeles — The band Lynch Mob have issued a statement regarding the unfortunate death of Emperors And Elephants guitarist Jeff Windisch.
Windisch died during Lynch Mob’s set at a show in Savage Minnesota on Saturday night August 13th.
Emperors And Elephants were the support band on the bill at “Neisens Sports Bar & Grill.”
Metal Sludge reported on the sad event earlier today, and it appears that Windisch may have suffered a heart attack.
Lynch Mob have issued the following statement below to Metal Sludge.
From The Lynch Mob: Oni George Jimmy and Sean.
We are very saddened by the loss of a rock n roll Soldier Jeff Windisch from the band Emperors and Elephants.
Out of respect for his family and band mates we did not want to make a statement or post until we felt that it was time.
We sincerely apologize to the fans for making the decision to end our show. Jeff needed medical attention and this was our only concern.
We are in disbelief as we were told that it was his birthday.
Our sincere condolences go out to his family, band mates and friends.
Heaven has taking another gunslinger home.
RIP Jeff Windisch
