Metal Sludge Exclusive – Kix drummer Jimmy “Chocolate” Chalfant has suffered a major heart attack.

An anonymous source informed Metal Sludge today that Chalfant had a major heart attack, last week on Wednesday September 29th.

Chalfant, 63, was hospitalized, had 2 separate surgeries and is now in recovery.

Metal Sludge reached out to the Kix camp directly earlier today and they immediately confirmed our story.

The band have now released an official statement directly to Metal Sludge, see below.
