Danger Danger drummer Steve West on the Patcast
Patcast — Hey, hey. Hey,, hey, hey, hey, hey. Do you like hair metal, hairbands and trains? Ok, how about Train. As in the band Train. Well if you’re not a fan of Train that’s irrelevant, because we still are gonna implore you to check out Train singer Pat Monahan’s Patcast.
Pat it turns out is a little bit of a closet hair metal fanboy and it’s great to listen to his Patcast. Especially when they feature friends of the Sludge and the content is Sludgy the same.
We must add that Pat is a bit of a ball buster and delivers plenty of sarcastic and fun humor in these episodes too boot.
Just to give you a quick glimpse into where this goes, listen from the 21:00 mark. We insist the whole thing is a great listen but the 21 and 22 minute mark is a good example of how Sludgy Pat Monahan can be.
Some other great Patcasts we recommend are with Mark McGrath and Richard Marx, These are a must. Yes, Richard Marx. Good stuff folks, give it a spin.
Also a little note below from our friend Steve West.
Hey peeps! I was recently a guest on Patcast by Pat Monahan. Pat is the singer for the band Train. He’s a close friend and an amazing human being. Oh, and he’s also a pretty talented muthafucka! Hear his inner ’80s rocker come out as we perform Naughty Naughty and Warrant’s Cherry Pie, plus shoot the shit about the good/bad old days of ‘80s Hair Metal. I hope you enjoy it!
