Metal Sludge — Hollywood rockers Wildside have seen their debut “Under The Influence” be reissued on colored vinyl courtesy of Experience Vinyl.
Wildside signed to Capitol Records at the tail-end of the Sunset Strip‘s 80’s explosion but unfortunately by the time it was released in 1992, the music landscape had changed drastically.
While the band’s debut from Capitol Records was issued on CD and vinyl, the release has long been out of print and locating a quality copy of this on either format is challenging for sure, but the vinyl is near impossible to find.
Now Experience Vinyl has reissued “Under The Influence” and according to the website’s description it is a deluxe gate-fold jacket and comes in a blue with black swirl.

WildSide burst onto the Sunset Strip scene as Young Guns in the late 80’s fronted by Drew Hannah (vocals), Brent Woods (lead guitar), Benny Rhynedance (guitars), Marc Simon (bass) and Jimmy ‘D’ Darby (drums).
The band was signed to Capitol Records in 1990 but their “Under The Influence” debut was not released until July 1992.
After the industry evolved the band found themselves parting ways with their label and eventually released their “Self Titled” follow up in 1995 via TNT Records.
The group then released “The Wasted Years” a collection of rare demos and out-takes on RLS Records in 2004.
