Metal Sludge — Stryper guitarist Oz Fox has suffered a major seizure and has been hospitalized.

This all according to a Facebook post from Thursday night (October 22nd) by the guitarist’s wife Annie Lobert.

Lobert posted around 6:30PM (PST) the following: “Oz is having a massive seizure please pray!!!”

Several fans chimed in with comments, well wishes and offered their prayers, then Lobert commented as well writing: “Omg Jesus pleae please help us.”

Fans continued to comment, as did Lobert.

At last check there are over 1,300 comments on the post.

At some point, after her initial post, and asking for Jesus to help, Lobert then added: “Just called 911.”

Based on the order of the posted messages, it appears the post and asking fans, and Jesus for help, came before Lobert actually called 9-1-1.

A few hours had passed when both Lobert and Fox posted on their Facebook pages with an update.

Lobert writes: “Update from Oz Fox Thank you for all your prayers! We are waiting for CT scan to come back. This was NOT fun. I’m so so so thankful for the presence of Jesus tonight with all your combined prayers. Like omg. God…Your turn…we lay this in our humble hands up to You & ask for your intervention!”

Fox himself posted the following: “Hi folks, I’m okay right now. I’m in ER waiting for some CT results. Annie is here. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers!:”
