MS NEWS / April 8th 2026 — Ratt founder and frontman Stephen Pearcy has just dropped a brand new solo single titled “I Need U” from his forth-coming solo album “The Dogg Mob“.
Pearcy took to his social media to share some details about the new song.
Pearcy noted “The Dogg Mob” will be due this summer and tells readers the tune was Engineered, Recorded and Mixed by Matt Thorne at MT Studios with the Terror Trio comprised of Pearcy, his guitarist Erik Ferentinos and Thorne.
The music was co-produced by Pearcy and Thorne, while the players involved were noted as Pearcy on lead vocals along with rhythm guitars, Ferentinos on guitar, Thorne on bass, Blas Elias on drums with a special guest lead guitarist who is TBA.
Pearcy is as prolific as almost anyone in rock from his era, as he gets ready to release his 8th solo album according to the singer’s Wikipedia.
In addition to his 8 solo releases, Pearcy has also released 10 albums with the band Ratt, 2 with Arcade, 1 with Vicious Delite and 1 with Vertex.
