Sebastian Bach is not happy about having to fly economy class
On An Airplane — Youth gone economy class is what had Sebastian Bach a little on edge over the weekend.
The former Skid Row singer flew to South America to do some solo shows and it seems this time was different than the past.
Bach took to his twitter writing: “1st time ever flying to South America in economy class! Always up for a new shitty experience.”
Bach then added photos of what appears to be other passengers on the flight.
The singer made sure to let everyone know this was the first time he’s ever had to fly economy to South America.
An online blogger from South America posted the tweet and added their own comments writing; “Baz is back in South America for the XXXXXXXth time since 1992 and suffered a reality shock this week, when, flying to Colombia, learned that his career is turning towards the point his fellow Canadians ANVIL have been at for a while now. Realizing his is not such a hot ticket [no pun intended] anymore, promoters had to fly him coach in order to lower costs – and he didn’t take it so well. Here’s the print of the original tweet, deleted by the former 1st Class Frequent Flyer Club Member.”
The tweet has since been deleted but we have it screen captured below.
In a ironic twist one industry insider revealed to Metal Sludge that on a past trip to South America promoters were presented with strict demands from Bach. The insider alleges that he (Bach) would not do the contrated shows unless he and his then fiancee’ (Minnie Gupta) were both flown first class.
The promoters caved and paid for the flights according to the source.
Gupta was the singer’s long time gal pal at the time and even appeared on the album artwork for his 2011 “Kicking And Screaming” release.
Gupta a known internet model also appeared in videos for the title track of “Kicking And Screaming” and again in a video for “Tempation” off his 2014 release “Give ‘Em Hell.”
Bach was previously married for 18 years to the mother (Maria Bierk) of his 3 children. The two announced their plans to divorce in January 2011.
Bach then spent several years dating, breaking up and making up with Gupta. Bach had even proposed to Gupta and the two were engaged along the way but to say their relationship was stable would be a stretch.
The singer then married Suzanne Le in August 2015 after knowing her for just 6 months. And according to Bach himself, he was introduced to his current wife by Disturbed singer David Draiman.
The couple currently reside in the suburbs of Los Angeles with Le’s 2 children.
