NEW MUSIC NEWSEngines Of Aggression were a shooting star in the mid 90’s coming from the Los Angeles music scene along with groups like System Of A Down and Korn.

Over time the lineup fluctuated but the band’s founder and frontman Tripp Holland remained in-tact.

EOA soldiered onward releasing a handful of LP’s and EP’s, including the band’s 1993 debut “Speak” and their 1994 follow-up “Inhuman Nature” both via Priority Records.

As the decade wound down Holland added lead guitarist Michael Thomas whom later found his way into the Faster Pussycat and Steven Adler (Guns N’ Roses) camps but by the end of the 20th century the band had faded into obscurity.

Now 25 years later, Holland along with a new lineup consisting of Carlos Rios (Guitar), Sterling (Bass) and Victor Rojas (Drums) have just released a brand new single “Start A War” with a promise of more to come in 2026.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: August 12th 2025

ENGINES OF AGGRESSION Light the Fuse with Explosive New Single “Start a War” Out August 12, 2025 via Sonic 9 Records 🎧

Los Angeles, CA After decades of cult admiration and near-mythical status, industrial rock insurgents ENGINES OF AGGRESSION are charging back onto the battlefield with their incendiary new single “Start a War,” out August 12, 2025 via Sonic 9 Records .

Blending the mechanized chaos of Rob Zombie , the adrenalized groove of Static-X , and the futuristic edge of Powerman 5000 , “Start a War” is a thunderous call to arms—fueled by rage, resilience, and unfinished business. Produced by Lamar Lowder , the track is a sonic firestorm that captures the band’s signature fusion of industrial grit, nu-metal ferocity, and hard rock swagger—all sharpened for a new era.

ENGINES OF AGGRESSION exploded out of the mid-‘90s Los Angeles scene, dominating the club circuit and headlining iconic venues like The Whisky a Go Go , where future legends like Korn and System of a Down once opened for them. With a reputation for electrifying live shows and genre-defying sound, the band, fronted by the uncompromising Tripp , quickly became one of the most buzzed-about acts in the underground.

They shared stages with heavyweights like Danzig and Henry Rollins , and earned praise from major outlets like the L.A. Times . But just as they were on the verge of breakout success, a doomed record deal and internal tensions brought their momentum to a screeching halt—while their peers shot to superstardom.

Now, after decades of fan demand, underground buzz, and internet lore, ENGINES OF AGGRESSION are back and more dangerous than ever. Their recent Black EP —produced by Steve Duda (NIN, Deadmau5)—rekindled the flames. But “Start a War” is the explosion that follows.

With plans to drop a full arsenal of new material and storm the festival circuit in 2026, ENGINES OF AGGRESSION are reclaiming their legacy—and this time, they’re doing it on their own terms.
