Metal Sludge — The word is that Lynch Mob is back.

As many know back in 2021 George Lynch decided to retire the band’s long-standing name of Lynch Mob, and cited sensitive issues with the name going back decades.

As was reported on Blabbermouth (January 4th 2021): “George Lynch has once again explained his decision to retire the LYNCH MOB band name, saying he “got tired of rationalizing it.

Lynch has been appearing and performing with his project calling it Electric Freedom.

Now it appears that Electric Freedom name is going away and Lynch Mob is being used again.

Last night Lynch Mob appeared at the Sugar Creek Casino in Hinton Oklahoma supporting the guitarist’s former band Dokken.

This show was billed as “Don Dokken w/ George Lynch – The Reunion Tour” with Lynch joining Don Dokken and the band for an encore of classic Dokken hits.

According to Oklahoma local and all around Rock Metal scenster Matt Lemieux the band is back as Lynch Mob with his social media post from the show stating: “Breaking news. George Lynch has relaunched the Lynch Mob brand & they sound fantastic!”

Lemieux also shared a photo of what appears to be a new Lynch Mob promotional poster, with signatures, that features the current lineup of players. (see below)

Lynch Mob features; guitarist George Lynch and ex-BulletBoys drummer Jimmy D’Anda who has appeared in a few of the previous lineups with Lynch.

Also on board is frontman and singer Gabriel Colon and Jaron Gulion on bass.
