“I want to thank everyone who lent support for the very recent and unexpected development of yet another, and hopefully final, reunification of BBoys.”
— Mick Sweda / BulletBoys
LOS ANGELES, California — After the recent exciting but shocking reunion announcement from BulletBoys, the band are now all apparently on the same page once again.
BulletBoys are scheduled to do shows this weekend in Michigan and Missouri, along with a “Whisky” show in their hometown of Hollywood California coming up before the end of the year.
The lineup will be all of the classic era members; Marq Torien (vocals), Mick Sweda (guitars), Lonnie Vencent (bass) and Jimmy D’Anda (drums).
Now guitarist Sweda has opened up with a statement on social media today detailing some of what lead to the band’s reunification.
Sweda took to Facebook writing: “I want to thank everyone who lent support for the very recent and unexpected development of yet another, and hopefully final, reunification of BBoys. And to those who might be puzzled and perhaps dismayed, I say you didn’t let me finish!!”
Sweda continued: “Seriously though, business that wasn’t on the table before is in the process of being worked out and the potential for working with guys I consider brothers after nearly 40 years outweighs the negativity. That said, see you in St. Charles tomorrow and Saginaw Saturday!! Luff and cheers!!”
Sweda and Torien appeared on the Z-93 The Rock Station with deejay Matt to discuss their reunion. (watch below)
BulletBoys formed from the ashes of King Kobra in early 1988 and by late that same year, the group were signed to Warner Bros. Records and released their S/T debut.
Metal Sludge would like to wish BulletBoys nothing but success, and as they say, with lots of Luff!
