Did SKID ROW just tease their ‘New Singer’ and perhaps a ‘New Single’ too?
METAL SLUDGE / October 28th 2026 – The wait is almost over… or so it appears to be the case.
Skid Row will be announcing their new vocalist any day now… or one would think?
The band launched their official search back in early February of 2026 in association with Sweetwater.
Now, it’s roughly 9 months later… it appears they have secured a new frontman.
Earlier today on October 28th, at exactly 10:00AM (EST) the band have dropped an official teaser on their related social media platforms.
The teaser is an audio/video clip with the following typed across the clip.
“Take a bow for the new revolution!”
We have shared the clip here…
That clip is approximately 9 seconds long, features a multi-layered scream accompanied by some unrecognizable music and noise… it has been shared on their official FB, IG, X and YT!
There are also a few sketchy images, or shapes that seemingly fade in and out on the clip.
Metal Sludge reached out to a few world-class vocalists and friends from the industry and we have been digging hard, but nobody seems to know who it is, or… they are keeping a tight lip.
One friend, even took their just released audio clip, and spent time putting the clip into various software, to try and decipher, just WHO might be doing that scream!
But… no luck, as it appears Skid Row have covered their tracks and thensome!
The clip appears to be backwards, for what it’s worth… so, in the meantime, we’ll all just have to wait!
Who is ready for Skid Row in 2027?
Ready, Set, Revolution.
