Metal Sludge — We are sad to report that Joey Cathcart has passed away.
Cathcart had been battling brain cancer for years and sadly he has lost that battle.
Cathcart is best known for the time he played guitar in the band Nelson.
Gunnar Nelson took to the band’s official Instagram to share news of the passing of their friend and former band member.
Joey Cathcart was 53.
