Share

LOS ANGELES, California — Sad news today as we report that Jennifer Perry has died.

The sad news has started to filter through the industry with condolences being shared on social media… and we have learned that Jennifer was at home in hospice after battling Cancer.

Jennifer Perry was instrumental in the Southern California music scene acting as an Agent and Promoter for more than 4 decades.

Early in her career Perry was the House Agent at Doug Weston’s Troubadour in the 80’s and booked an endless list of notable artists into the legendary venue including; Stryper, Leatherwolf and Warrant.

Perry eventually worked at Tapestry Artists as an agent, and then at Avalon Attractions as a promoter.

Perry was very involved in helping to curate local Hollywood bands and seeing them through to success on a Regional, National and even an International level.

Perry also worked along with Sharon Osbourne in the 90’s and together they created OzzFest.

It should be noted, that Jennifer absolutely LOVED her dogs and we know they loved her too!

Jennifer Perry was 67.

A personal note here from me… Jennifer Perry was our official agent for TUFF at Tapestry Artists in 1987, and she was an early believer and supporter of our band… we have remained friends over time and stayed in touch.

Thank You Jennifer for all of your help and friendship over the years, we’re going to miss you.

R.I.P. my friend, Stevie Rachelle
