Mario Maglieri owner of the Rainbow Bar & Grill has died

HOLLYWOOD, California — Mario Maglieri has died.

Metal Sludge reached out to and confirmed with staff from both the ‘Whisky-A-Go-Go” and “Rainbow Bar And Grill” that it is true, Maglieri has passed away.

The club’s official twitter posted a message just minutes ago that reads in part; “Dear Rainbow friends and family, it is with great sadness to announce the passing of our beloved Mario Maglieri…”

Maglieri is considered to be one of the Godfather’s of the Sunset Strip.

Maglieri was in the business for over 5 decades, he was 93.

RIP Mario….
