Metal Sludge — Sad news as we report the sudden passing of Saliva guitarist Wayne Swinny.

Swinny, 59, was a founding member of the group and was admitted yesterday to an I.C.U. at a hospital while on tour after suffering a brain hemorrhage.

Blabbermouth writes: “SALIVA shared a statement on Facebook in which the band said that Swinny had been found on Tuesday morning “in medical distress.”

Paramedics were called and the musician was transported to hospital “where he was diagnosed with a Spontaneous Hemorrhage in his brain.”
