Metal Sludge — According to a new article found on The Sun, the inside scoop is that Ozzy Osbourne just might be returning to the stage.
However, since The Prince of Darkness is limited in his ability to stand or walk for long periods, Ozzy might be rocking n’ rolling… in a wheelchair.
The Sun writes: “The rocker, who has Parkinson’s disease, announced his retirement from touring and cancelled his No More Tours 2 run last month saying he was “not physically capable”.
“But pals say Ozzy is already “so upset and annoyed” at being unable to play live, he wants to get back out even if it means being in a chair.”
The word is, that Ozzy is taking a page out of the Axl Rose book, who as many recall, performed several shows sitting in a throne-like chair that was influenced by Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters.
Ozzy has also taken note of the latest Genesis tour dates, where Phil Collins sang sitting in a chair for most of the shows.
The Sun coverage continues with: ““Ozzy worries that he may not be able to sit still, which could be challenging. But there is talk of bringing in some special effects and even stage machinery to have the chair move around. He feels a lot of options are on the table, but Oz is not ruling out Vegas or LA runs.”
